Brunch at Autour Du Monde
As New Yorkers know, its not difficult to find a decent restaurant for brunch. However, the difficult part is attempting to find a good restaurant that doesn’t have at least a thirty minute wait and one that is not over crowded. Well Autour Du Monde at 860 Fulton Street in Brooklyn is just that. This unassuming French Canadian restaurant has a fantastic and delicious brunch menu at affordable prices. Not to mention enough space to speak and not feel like a reluctant exhibitionist. Each time I go I can’t seem to stay away from the Autour Du Monde Eggs Benedict served in a mini-brioche filled with sautéed spinach, topped with tomato hollandaise sauce, served with home fries. Not everyone is an avid drinker of spirits, as I am, however Autour has you covered there as well. Everyone loves the brunch mimosa, but how about the brunch Caribbean rum punch. If you’re nursing a hangover, I dare you to try the rum punch. After twelve noon of course. Other favorites are the Croque Madame and the Steak and Eggs. Check it out when you’re looking for a great Sunday brunch.
